Bob Twidel was born in the Northeast part of the United Kingdom.  He is a retired family physician and llves in Fort Erie, Ontario.

After retirement, Bob took up painting in 1993 and has been a member of Arts Place Cooperative since 1998. Prinicpally working in oils and soft pastel, his work varies from simple still life, local landscape and depiction of human activity such as restaurant and work scenes.

Bob has shown at Arts Place in Port Colborne, Ontario in one man shows and and as a group exhibitor since 1998. Other venues include the Roselawn Centre For The Arts, Port Colborne, Ontario, Fort Erie Public Library, the Fort Erie Arts Council's Red Ribbon Show, at the Fort Erie Arts Council and at the Pines Restaurant, Crystal Beach, Ontario.
