"All my life I have been an artist. I started drawing at four and painting at twenty.
I have continued to workin two or three dimensional media all my life. My work at present is mainly large drawings in full colour and acrylic paintings.
Scholarships paid for my basic education. Afterwards, I taught in the School of Interior Design, Ryerson Poytechnical University (Toronto) for 32 years. In addition to my teaching I worked on many architectural and theatre design projects.
I have continuously exhibited in jureied, solo or group shows. I have exhibited in Canada, U.S.A., Mexico and England. My work is in collections in all these countries. In the last ten years I have exhibited frequently, often with two major shows a year.
As president of the Society of Canadian Artists, I was active in the setting up of the John B. Aird Gallery at Queens Park, Ontario. I continue to contribute to the work of the Society in it's efforts to develop and popularize the work of contemporary artists."
